LAGOS DESIGN AND FASHION WEEK 2016
The biggest runway show in Nigeria is going down in Lagos from Oct 26-29 2016 in Federal Palace, Victoria Island. The Lagos Design and Fashion Week (LDFW) is an annual that showcases talents of creative minds in the fashion industry. It attracts an audience of over 5,000 viewers; both locally and internationally.
This sixth edition has attracted the management of Sterling Bank Plc. Mr. Abubakar Suleiman the Executive Officer of Sterling Bank Plc stated that this is an avenue for the country to diversify the country's economy in view of the oil export crisis. He further stated that " we need to adequately harness the abundant talent in the fashion industry to support the local economy".
He also stated that the bank is working on an initiative for Small and medium scale business, with the aim to help young people grow and expand their business
This year's event headline sponsor is Heineken with other supporters like Vlisco, Bellanaija, Vanguard Allure, Spice TV and lots more.
