SARAKI PROPOSES THE USE OF ASO-OKE IN SCHOOLS BY STUDENTS
The senate president, Bukola Saraki is proposing that schools in Nigeria should use Aso-oke as the fabric for student's caps and cardigans. According to him, this will create jobs and and generate revenue for the country at large.
"At this time we are campaigning for #BuyNaija to GrowNaira, in which i am a front line crusader and kware, being the home of Aso-Oke throughout the world. We are looking for how to make Aso-Oke the materaial for school Pupils' caps and Cardigans. With this, we would have generated hundreds of thousands of jobs and generated enough revenues for our state and the country at large". He made this known on his twitter page on Sunday.

In an interview with CBS on Sunday, U.S elect Donald Trump said he won't be taking the $400,000 salary he is entitled to as the president. He had a statement like this during his campaign in September. He said ' I think I have to by law take $1, so I'll take $1 a year".
