BUHARI: I FELT LIKE LEAVING PRESIDENCY AFTER I WAS SWORN IN
President Buhari while speaking to participants of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Senior Executive Course, Kuru and the institute's management staff in Abuja said he felt like running away days after he was sworn in.
His reason being that he was unaware of the country's financial state. He stated that 27 states are unable to pay salaries and the workers' lives depend solely on their income. He said, when he asked what the money in the treasury was used for, the answer was shocking, 'it was used to import food and fuel'. He said he couldn't and can't still believe that answer. He questioned the savings and the was there was no savings. He further asked what was done in the agricultural sector and the reply was nothing.
WOLE SOYINKA SUPPORTS HILLARY CLINTON
According to a report by The Guardian, Wole Soyinka says he will leave America and destroy his green card if Donald Trump wins the presidential election. Soyinka made this known during a speech at the New York University's Institute of American Affairs.
" If in the unlikely event he does win, the first thing he'll do is to say (that) all green-card holders must reapply to come back into the U.S. Well, i'm not waiting for that.
The moment they announce his victory, i will cut my green card myself and start packing up" Soyinka said.
This was said less than 3 weeks after more than 50 Nobel Laureates backed Mrs Clinton.

HIGH COURT CONVICTS FOUR COMPANIES OF LAUNDERING $15.5M
On Wednesday, a high court in Lagos convicted four companies ( Pluto
Property and Investment Company Limited; Seagate Property Development
& Investment Co. Limited; Trans Ocean Property and Investment
Company Limited and Avalon Global Property Development Company Limited) of laundering ($15.5m) which was kept in their accounts with Skye Bank.These companies were traced to a former Special Adviser on Domestic Affairs to Goodluck Jonathan, Waripamo-Owei Dudafa.
In August, EFFC probed Dudafa, seizing the $15m and freezing their accounts.
Patience Jonathan had earlier sued the companies and Skye bank stating that the money belonged to her.
Justice Babs Kuewumi convicted the companies of laundering the $15.5m stating that EFFC had proved that the money was stolen.
