FOSSIL AND MICHAEL
KORS NARROW THEIR FOCUS.
Fossil, the fashion brand is said to be downsizing and
reducing it number of products and closing stores. The fashion brand reported a
quarterly profit of $17.4m from $57.5m a year ago and total sales reduced to
4.2%. These figures have forced the company and other fashion brands like
Michael Kors to narrow their focus.
According to Kosta Kartsotis, the CEO of the company,”
customers want fewer and better products. They don’t want to see a huge
assortment of products like what’s in a department store. They want to see a
few good, well-designed products”.
